In 2018 the NSW Seniors Festival grants program supported 103 local councils, community, volunteer and not-for profit organisations across the state. Seniors in NSW were encouraged to ‘do more together’ by getting involved in creative and artistic activities with a focus on trying new things, connecting with each other and having fun.
Run by the Department of Family and Community Services, the Grants Program provides $200,000 in seed-funding for organisations to hold events and activities across the state during the annual NSW Seniors Festival.
We fund projects that provide opportunities for people over 60 to remain active, healthy, engaged and contributing to their local communities.
