The second annual Australian Museum Seniors Day is a unique opportunity to enjoy free access to the Australian Museum, including special exhibitions Mammoth - Giants of the Ice Age, GADI, and 200 Treasures of the Australian Museum.

Discover a special program of activities and events where you will:

  • experience Aboriginal and Pacific culture through precious objects and performance
  • discover the latest scientific news in lively discussions
  • explore 3D printing technology and virtual reality
  • participate in fascinating talks and behind-the-scenes tours
  • try your hand at interactive workshops.

Seniors are invited to become more involved in the Museum's exciting research through citizen science projects and to enjoy exclusive access to the Museum’s rare books in the Australian Museum Library's new Reading Room. Discounts in the Museum shop, cafĂ© and the rooftop restaurant complete the experience on this special day.

Australian Museum Seniors Day is presented by Australian Museum in association with NSW Seniors Festival.
